How do search engines find these websites matching your search query, and determine the order of search results known as page ranking?
-In simple terms searching the web utilizing a search engine is like looking in the index of a book for what you are looking for and tuning to the corresponding page number. When a query is preformed the search engine searches their database for a list of website that best matches your query string or phase and serves the page to you.
